Discover the past and present along Waukegan’s shoreline! The Waukegan Historical Society, in partnership with the Waukegan Park District, Lake County Audubon Society, and Sharing Our Shore – Waukegan, invites you to the Then & Now: Lakefront & Nature Tour at Waukegan Municipal Beach.

This free guided walk begins at the Stiner Pavilion and explores how the lakefront has evolved over time, highlighting both its rich history and natural environment. No registration is required and it is for all ages! Participants are encouraged to stay afterward and enjoy a concert by the Waukegan Band.
